Internal redirection

It is based on handling external HTTP queries. The user navigates from the external site through links containing "short" (shortcut to the appropriate link).

e.g. a link with the address http://przekierowania.pl/r/abc will redirect you to the page with the address http://strona-docelowa.pl with the HTTP response code "301 Moved Permanently".

External redirection

It involves handling external queries via the API. The functionality enables handling of redirects as in the case of "internal redirections", however, on an external server under a different domain.

e.g. the link http://inny-serwer.pl/r/abc will redirect you to the page with the address http://strona-docelowa.pl with the HTTP response code "301 Moved Permanently". In this case, information about the destination address is downloaded via the API from http://przekierowania.pl and then redirected via the website http://strona-docelowa.pl.
